Dear Coaches and Athletes,
We have rolled out the white carpet for you and are to ready to have some great competition this weekend in Frosty Northern Maine! We have been blessed with some great snowfall during the last few days, so get ready for mid winter conditions! Some last minute notes for your visit to make everything go smoothly;

Saturday Food Service
We have arranged a catered Lunch for Athletes and Coaches in the food tent for Saturday afternoon from 11am-2pm. The cost is $10 per person for all you can eat, Chili, Stew, etc. It is on first come first serve basis, we have ordered 175 meals with 80 seats in the tent, so if you eat at different times it should work out.

Wax Room Parking
Those of you that have reserved wax rooms on the upper level (first to reserved them), will be able to park right in front of your door. Those on the basement level will have to park in the next row away from the building. Please don’t park in front of the upper level if you have not reserved a wax room.

Athlete Gear Storage and Lounging Area
The basement of the wax building has a long hallway with tables and chairs for athletes to lounge between races, eat lunch, and store ski bags etc. There are bathrooms in both levels of the wax building. The main lodge is reserved for indoor spectators viewing and volunteers. Please have athletes keep gear in the wax building!

Stadium Access/Ski Warmup Area
Athlete and Coach access to the stadium during race events will be through the entry tunnel to the main lodge, and then follow the signs to the left of the lodge and down the outside stairs. There is an area between the biathlon firing line and targets to set up wax tents close to the start finish. Athletes can warmup in this area and the biathlon penalty loop prior to their start. Please don’t ski between the wax building and the stadium on the race trail during races.

Safe Travels…. we are anxious to have you all visit Wintery Fort Kent!!
